The opening is expected to create at least 10 new jobs.

The Launch Place helps provide the funding for emerging businesses to encourage them to come to Danville.

Netarus President Mark Shaw said the money will help move part of the company's operation to the River City over the next two years.

"With the Danville commitment, we're looking at either our manufacturing or our dealer, distributor network support group [opening up here]," Shaw stated during a news conference at The Launch Place this morning.

Netarus is the eighth emerging company for which The Launch Place has provided funding since the company was created in 2012.
