ROSELAND (WSLS 10) - Devils Backbone Brewing Company is set for its first Hoopla festival.
Hoopla is a new festival that will bring people together to craft an adventure at Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows from Thursday, September 29 through Sunday, October 2.

During the festival, attendees will enjoy 15 bands, including headliners The Revivalists and Old 97's, and an abundance of interactive events, like hiking, rare beer tastings, and human foosball.
At Devils Backbone Hoopla festival goers will be able to camp out, enjoy workshops, and outdoor activities alongside an incredible lineup of live music, award-winning craft beer, and great eats. Tucked away in the valley of Nelson County on 100 acres surrounded by Blue Ridge Mountains, Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows provides a picturesque backdrop for the four-day event.
Experiencing new music at Hoopla will give listeners the same sense of discovery that comes with trying a new beer. The featured bands are a sweet mix of bluegrass, Americana, alt-country, and rock from national touring acts, as well as some of the region's up and coming live bands. Bands rounding out the bill include:
Thursday:
- Trongone Band
A sound that falls perfectly between southern rock 'n soul and Americana jam.
A seven-piece band covering a vast repertoire of music ranging from The Beatles and Van Morrison to Marvin Gaye and Ray Charles.
Jeremiah Tall
A one-man show with a spin on folk rock.
Friday:
- Old 97's
Dallas' own alt-country act.
Futurebirds
High energy, psychedelic country from Athens, Georgia.
Holy Ghost Tent Revival
Horn-driven rock and roll, with a hint of blues, folk, and soul.
SUSTO
Progressive country-rock inspired by a Latin American syndrome that translates to "panic attack."

Dylan Leblanc
An Americana singer-songwriter with roots in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Major & The Monbacks
Reminiscent of retro 60's rock 'n roll, with psychedelic twang, soaring three-part harmonies, and the horn laden grit of southern soul.
Gold Top County Ramblers
Acoustic bluegrass inspired string rock.
Bryan Elijah Smith & The Wild Hearts
Alternative Americana with a powerful sound.
Unique indie-pop hailing from Boone, NC.
The Hoopla Adventures will be activities, events and workshops that celebrate the seven amazing values that make up the Devils Backbone culture: Beer Positive, Passion, Adventure, Family, Humility, Integrity, and Stewardship. Every Adventure starts with a question, "Where do we want to go and how are we going to get there?" Our answer, by doing things the right way, never losing focus of the destination, and all the while having fun! The complete Hoopla Adventure schedule will be announced in April.
