Carrie Underwood coming to Roanoke in September

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSLS 10) – Seven-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood announced she will be performing at the Berglund Center on Monday, September 26.

On Thursday, the country music superstar announced that her The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round will be extending into the fall for 34 additional performances, of which Roanoke is one.

Underwood will also perform at Charlottesville’s John Paul Jones Arena on Saturday, October 22.

The tour will include special guests Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers.

Tickets will be available for The Storyteller Tour beginning Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. time at www.aeglive.com.

Those who have an American Express card can purchase tickets beginning Monday, April 4th at noon

Underwood will continue to donate $1 from each ticket sold to the C.A.T.S Foundation to help aid its causes including Checotah, Oklahoma’s education and literacy programs. Established in 2009, the C.A.T.S. (Checotah Animal, Town, and School) Foundation helps with general causes, needs, and services in the area of Checotah, Oklahoma, Carrie’s hometown, to directly impact the community.
