Hearings rescheduled for accused pair in Nicole Lovell case

CHRISTIANSBURG (WSLS 10) - David Eisenhauer and Natalie Keepers' preliminary hearings have been rescheduled for May 20, following a delay earlier this month.

Eisenhauer, the former Virginia Tech Student accused of first-degree murder in the death of 13-year-old Nicole Lovell, and Keepers, the former Virginia Tech student charged with being an accessory and with helping dispose of Lovell’s body were scheduled to appear in Montgomery County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on March 28, but the defense for both asked for a continuance.

At the time of the request, lawyers indicated a need for additional preparation time and the Commonwealth indicated it had not yet received the final Medical Examiner's report, according to a news release from the Commonwealth's Attorney's office.

Both hearings are set for 9 a.m.
