BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - A New River Valley non-profit organization has expanded its services to help seniors stay in their homes longer.
Warm Hearth at Home is now offering occupational, physical and speech therapies to elderly residents at their homes. It is also providing skilled nursing.

Warm Hearth recently became a licensed Medicare provider, which will allow more seniors to afford the new care options.
Workers said as the Baby Boomer generation ages, they have seen an increased need for these types of services. Many seniors want to stay independent in their own homes longer.
