RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A felon accused of committing two armed robberies last year had previously received a pardon from Virginia's governor.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1XOuLnC ) reports that 29-year-old John Saul Miller was one of 41 people who received pardons from Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe.

Miller had been diagnosed with a terminal case of leukemia and had asked for absolution of previous crimes based on his diagnosis and declining health.
McAuliffe granted Miller's request on June 3 and pardoned him for earlier convictions including robbery and possession of a firearm.
After his pardon, Miller was arrested again on Oct. 5 after being accused of robbery. Miller has since died.
McAuliffe spokesman Brian Coy says Miller's pardon petition met all eligibility requirements.
