Glory's grandmother, Rhonda, recalls walking in the kitchen and seeing her husband, Danny, in cardiac arrest in February 2015.

After calling 911, dispatch suggested Rhonda start CPR and Glory pipped up and said she could do that.

"She said grandma I know how to do that and I just scooted back and said go, do it," explained Rhonda.

"It's important. You don't think that you need it, but it's pretty important" Glory said.

Glory adds she is so grateful for the CPR training.

In fact, she helped save her grandfather again at Thanksgiving.

The annual Celebration of Heroes breakfast is set for Tuesday, March 29th at The Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center from 7:30 to 9 a.m.

If you would like to attend tickets are $30 each.
