DANVILLE (WSLS)-- A Danville man is in jail after cutting someone's neck with a knife Thursday night.
Just after 11 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of Halifax Road in reference to a fight where one of the people had been cut.

When officers arrived, they found the victim sitting on the back steps with a knife wound to the neck. The victim was transported to the Danville Regional Medical Center for treatment of a non-life threatening wound.
The suspect, 43-year-old Kenneth Lawrence Huggins, Jr. was arrested for malicious wounding and transported to the Danville City Jail. He's being held without bond.
