Man and woman arrested in Christiansburg drug bust

CHRISTIANSBURG (WSLS 10) -  A man and woman face multiple felonies following a drug bust in Christansburg.

According to the Christansburg Police Department, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Alleghany Street on Tuesday.

Investigators recovered one pot labs, precursors used to manufacturer methamphetamine, and three firearms.

Police say there was also evidence that a child under the age of 18 lives in the residence; however, the child was not home when the search warrant was executed.

Officers arrested 48-year-old Larry Joe Browning and 46-year-old Donna Epperly Gardner.

Browning faces the following felonies:

  • Felony Child Endangerment
  • Felony Possession of a Firearm while Possessing a Controlled Substance
  • Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Felony Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine
  • Felony Manufacture 227 grams or more of Methamphetamine
  • Felony With Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine Possess 2 or more Precursors
  • Felony Conspiracy to Manufacture 227 grams or more of Methamphetamine

Gardner is charged with the following felonies:

  • Felony Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine
  • Felony With Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine Possess 2 or more Precursors
  • Felony Conspiracy to Manufacture 227 grams or more of Methamphetamine

Both Browning and Gardner are being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bond.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's office assisted with the execution of the search warrant.
