BEDFORD (WSLS) - On Sunday, the Bedford E-911 Center received a report of an explosion in the 1300 block of Rexford Drive in the Goodview area of the county. Police said the call came around 7:20 p.m.
Crews from the Stewartsville-Chamblissburg fire department and EMS units from Bedford County Fire & Rescue responded. Officials said reports indicate that there was some type of an explosion in a shed that resulted in two persons being transported to Roanoke Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The incident is being investigated by the Bedford County Fire Marshal's Office. Additional information may be released once the investigation is complete.
