Joint child exploitation investigation leads to arrest of Lynchburg man

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) A joint child exploitation investigation leads to the arrest of a Lynchburg man. The Lynchburg Police Department Forensics Unit in coordination with the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce and the Columbia Missouri Police Department completed the joint child exploitation investigation which began in December 2014.

The investigation lead to the arrest of Robert "Bobby" Blaine Trent, 32, of Lynchburg, on 10 counts of production of child pornography, five counts of taking indecent liberties with a child 13 years of age or under, and 10 counts of a computer/communication system in the commission of the above referenced offenses. Trent is being held without bond at the Lynchburg Adult Detention Center.
