DANVILLE (WSLS)-- Two people are hurt after an early morning shooting in Danville.
Officers were called to Stonewall Court just after 2 a.m. Officers found two people, a 21 year-old man and a 22 year-old woman. Both had been shot to the upper part of their bodies. The pair told police they were shot while driving through the intersection of First and Abbott Streets.

Both were taken to the Danville Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
