The two told police they were driving through the intersection of Abbott St. and First St. when they were shot.

Both victims were transported to Danville regional Medical Center for treatment.

As of Friday afternoon, police hadn't been able to gather much information about what happened.

"We're having a hard time getting information from anywhere," Danville Police Department Lt. Mike Wallace emphasized. "Of course, a lot of it's the time of morning that it is, but we're having a little difficulty with information on this one."
