BUENA VISTA (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - The Parry McCluer girls basketball team lost many seniors from last year. With only three losses in the regular season, the freshman have helped fill those shoes and are meshing well with the upperclassmen.

"We've got two seniors and that was the big question coming into the season, 'how well could they mesh with the younger group?' But it's been a pretty flawless transition," said head coach Adam Gilbert.

"Our seniors of been really helpful, teaching us all the plays and our sophomores are kind of the same age and a lot of the freshman have been playing together for a while so I think us playing with them has been working out really well," said freshman Peyton Mohler.

"Honestly it's been more than I could've ever expected I lost a lot of close friends last year, I mean it was tough coming in but never expected it to be this good I couldn't ask for better team," explained senior Mackenzie Wheeler.
