Broncos dominate first half but neither team looks stellar
The Broncos got off to a quick start, scoring a field goal on their opening drive to take a quick 3-0 lead. Peyton Manning came out firing. His first four plays were passes for 46 yards setting up a 34-yard field goal by Brandon McManus.

Also in the first quarter, Denver's Von Miller sacked Cam Newton, forcing a fumble that was recovered by Malik Jackson in the end zone for a touchdown.

Panthers cut Broncos lead in second quarter
Cam Newton and the Panthers were able to cut the Broncos lead in the second quarter after Newton led a touchdown drive that ended with a 1-yard leap into the end zone by Jonathan Stewart.

First half dominated by defense
Defense dominated the first half. There were three turnovers, including this one-handed catch by Panthers' defensive end Kony Ealy. Of the 15 drives in the first half, nine ended without a first down.

Some say Coldplay let Bruno Mars and Beyonce upstage them at their own Super Bowl show. Others were underwhelmed until Bruno and Beyonce took the stage.

Beyonce announces world tour
Immediately following her halftime performance at Super Bowl 50, Beyonce announced she's going on tour! The 2016 Formation World Tour, announced during a post-halftime show commercial, will kick off April 27 in Miami.

Cam can't deliver
Cam Newton struggled in his first Super Bowl appearance. The league MVP never seemed comfortable in the pocket and failed to produce a TD running or throwing for the first time this season. The Panthers' offensive line also allowed a Super Bowl record-tying seven sacks.

Turnovers proved costly for the Panthers. There were four, including a third quarter interception by T.J. Ward.

Broncos take 24-10 lead late in the fourth

Von Miller named Super Bowl MVP
Broncos' linebacker Von Miller was named MVP of Super Bowl 50. He forced two fumbles and recorded 2 1/2 sacks.
Peyton won't say if he'll retire
Peyton Manning says he wants to kiss his wife, kiss his kids and celebrate with his teammates after Sunday's Super Bowl 50 win. He says he'll take time to reflect on his career before he decides if he will retire.
"I'll take some time to reflect," Manning said when asked if Super Bowl 50 is the end. "I got a couple priorities first. I'm going to go kiss my wife and my kids. ... I'm going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight. Take care of those things first."
