LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) -- The Lynchburg Police Department is looking for a woman wanted on several gang-related charges.

On February 1, a Lynchburg Grand Jury indicted Skylar Denise Lewis, 26, for gang recruitment in a school zone, participation in a gang that includes a juvenile in a school zone and assault and battery by mob.

Investigators say these indictments are related to the arrests of Stephen Lamont Spinner, Eric Lamont Payne and Christopher Michael Thomas for gang and/or gun-related charges on August 18, 2015.

That incident was one of a series of shootings in Lynchburg that happened in August 2015. Police say it's likely another one of those incidents was the shooting death of 16-year-old Jessie Paige, who was shot and killed on Saturday, August 15.

Investigators are currently trying to find Lewis. Anonymous information that leads to her arrest may be eligible for a reward through Crime Stoppers of Central Virginia.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective D.W. Clarke with the Lynchburg Police Department at 434-455-6174 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900. Visit the Central Virginia Crime Stoppers website at www.cvcrimestoppers.org to enter a web tip, or text "CVCS" plus your message to 274637.
