CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - Team Penske is celebrating its 50th anniversary and if you ask team owner Roger Penske, there will be many more milestones to come.

"I'll be at the races as long as I can stand up and we're there for one reason, we're there to win and if you look at the guys on my right here you can see the quality and what they've given to our team and obviously we're looking for 2016 to be a great year with the continuity across all aspects of our team," said Penske.

One continuity of the Penske team is the love/hate relationship fans have with its two Sprint Cup drivers, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski. If the fans aren't cheering for them, they're booing them, something the drivers have come to embrace.

"Well they say as long as they're making noise, that's a good thing and there was a lot of noise this year so I guess that's a good thing and I said after we won Talladega, there are beers being thrown at me and all that stuff, I personally thought, with the positive attitude I have, 'that this is the coolest thing ever,'" explained Logano.

His teammate, Keselowski, agreed.

"In this sport being booed is a badge of honor. All the great drivers have been booed. On the other side just want to grab somebody and talk to them for a minute and hash it out, but it is what it is," he said.

Love them or hate them, the Penske team is only getting better, Logano had six Sprint Cup wins in 2015 alone.
