Police score a win in the annual Guns 'N Hoses hockey game

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Members with Roanoke police and Roanoke Fire-EMS faced off in the hockey rink on Saturday. The goal? Help save lives.

Fans packed inside the Berglund Center for the 13th annual Guns 'N Hoses hockey game.

The event raises money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Organizers said the game is a family-friendly event that continues to grow each year. Over the past 12 years the event has raised more than $205,000, according to Gary Hosmtetter, Guns 'N Hoses coordinator.

The Guns won 6-1 over the Hoses to earn bragging rights.
