BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - After dropping two straight games to St. Joseph's and West Virginia the Virginia Tech men's basketball team rebounded in style with two straight wins at home over N.C. State and Monday against #4 UVa.

"It took literally everything we had, it was a hard turn around playing Saturday and coming back Monday, but we stayed the course and we treat our bodies right and we played as hard as we could," said Hokies guard Seth Allen.

Zach LeDay, who finished with a team high 22 points, added, "this is a lot of yelling and stuff like that, to see it pay off for this one game but this is one game, we got to move on, we have Duke next, we know it's going to be hard game. This is a great win for us and our program."

"We haven't done anything strategically different, we're running the same plays, our defensive philosophy has been the same," said Hokies head coach Buzz Williams.

UVA had 16 turnovers compared to Virginia Tech's eight and the Hokies cashed in on them, Virginia's coach Tony Bennett acknowledged that after the loss.

"26 points off turnovers, they have quick hands they took the ball, but you have to be ready and sure not give those things up."

"We just try to make them uncomfortable and that was the goal for us to come into game and we just want to keep doing that, the last two games we have a forced a lot of turnovers, we need to keep doing that," said Justin Bibbs, who finished with 16 points.

The Hokies are now 2-0 in ACC play and travel to another ranked team, #14 Duke on Saturday.
