Roanoke City Council expected to get updates on regional airport services, broadband

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - On Monday, the Roanoke City Council will meet for the first time in 2016.

There are several items on the agenda including an update from the Roanoke Regional Airport Commission.

Topics expected to be discussed include airline services, capital projects for 2016-2017 and airline incentive programs.

During the 9 a.m. session, council members are scheduled to also receive updates on the broadband authority as well as presentations about general real estate reassessments and budget planning.

The council will also have a 2 p.m. session on Monday.
