The Craig County School board meets Tuesday night to discuss the search for a replacement. Craig County's interim superintendent Chip Gray has spent the last 10 days on the job. He says the initial discussion is expected to be brief but they will talk about the timeline and what kinds of things to look for in a new superintendent.

Gray says of course it's up to the board to make the decisions but he believes they will start searching in January, getting input from the community and staff along the way. As the process continues there will be surveys and meetings, on what they will be looking for in a Superintendent and that information will be shared with the Board.

He says a selection could be made by late May 2016.
