The team manager, Jon Creasy, has undergone two rounds of chemotherapy since being diagnosed with leukemia in 2007.

While he can't suit up and hit the field like these guys Jon runs the clock and keeps score at practice.

It's his contribution to growing this program.

That's why freshman Payton Kimber came up with the idea for the team to honor him with helmet stickers.

"If you look at him and you've all the struggles that he's gone through it kind of makes all the things that we might be going through on the field look very miniscule," Kimber explained.

"It makes me feel like a normal person. It makes me feel loved and needed," Creasy said.

Jon says it means the world to know players recognize his hard work and devotion to the team despite his physical limitations.

It's a small gesture, but a big deal to Jon.
