Softer cheese like Brie, melt beautifully when grilled .. try this recipe with your turkey leftovers!!
3/4 cup dried figs, stems removed

3/4 cup Food Lion apple cider (when available) Otherwise use Apple Juice
1 tsp. dried thyme or Food Lion rubbed sage
pinch of salt
8 slices of Food Lion whole grain bread
4 oz. Taste of Inspiration brie cheese, rind removed
2 cups shredded turkey
2 cups baby spinach
2 Tbs. Food Lion unsalted butter
Place figs apple cider, thyme and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 15 minutes. Blend mixture into a chunky paste. Spread fig paste on each slice of bread. Among 4 slices, divide the cheese turkey, and spinach and top with the other slices of bread. Cook on stovetop with butter. Enjoy!!
