Lynchburg holding a vigil to honor French sister city, Paris attack victims

Lynchburg (WSLS 10) -- The SisterCity of Lynchburg organization will hold a candlelight vigil to honor the victims of the attacks in Paris, the citizens of Paris and the citizens of Lynchburg's sister city, Rueil-Malmaison, which is near Paris.

The Hill City's relationship with Rueil-Malmaison spans over 20 years.

The vigil will be on Monday, November 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Monument Terrace on Church Street in downtown Lynchburg.

People who would like to go are encouraged to bring a candle.
