ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Mill Mountain Zoo announced it will offer free admission during its Holiday Spirit at Mill Mountain Zoo celebration.
The annual, family-friendly event is Sunday, December 6 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

This year's celebration features a local crafts and art, free cider and Santa has promised to stop by to take everyone's holiday wish list this year. The Zoo will also hold a 'Kans for Kocoa' food drive, benefiting the Southwest Virginia chapter of Feeding America.
The event is sponsored by Home Depot and Kona-Ice, which will provide a free hot chocolate to everyone who brings a canned good or other non-perishable food item to donate.
The event is rain or snow and would only be cancelled should the Parkway access roads be closed. For more information or to be a vendor at the holiday bazaar, contact Katie McKernan at the Zoo.
