ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - In addition to Dickens of a Christmas, there will be even more things to do in downtown Roanoke for the holiday season.
An ice rink will be open at Elmwood Park starting on November 23 and last until February 14.

The ice rink will be 3,900 square feet and accommodate 100 skaters at a time.
It'll cost $6 to get in and $2 to rent skates. Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport is a sponsor. The new rink will be called "ROA's Elmwood on Ice".
Construction for the ice rink will start on November 9.
It will be open seven days a week:
- 4 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday
- 4 to 10 p.m. Friday
- 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday
- Noon to 7 p.m. Sunday
- Extended hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. while schools are out
