BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - The Blacksburg Police Department says they're investigating a suspicious incident where a woman was heard screaming early Wednesday.
Officers said the incident happened around 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28 in the 600 block of Progress Street.

Witnesses in the area advised they had heard a woman screaming, but could not ascertain the location it was originating from.
The investigation revealed that a woman was seen entering a vehicle during the above time frame in the general area, but it is unknown if she was involved in the incident.
She's described as a white female in her early 20s with red tint in her hair.
