Virginia now has one of the fastest growing wine industries in the country.

There are around 260 wineries in the Commonwealth, the fifth highest number in the U.S. However, Virginia's grape supply is not keeping up with this demand.

White Barrel Winery in Christiansburg has been in business for almost 10 years. Owners there say grape prices have gone up every year, sometimes by as much as 25 percent.

That is forcing many wineries to consider importing more product from out of state.

State regulations require 75 percent of a winery's grapes to come from Virginia for its drinks to be considered Virginia wine.
