BOTETOURT COUNTY (WSLS 10) - A serious accident involving a tractor trailer blocked both southbound lanes of Interstate-81 Monday morning.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 5:45 a.m. Monday, October 26 along I-81 southbound at mile marker 158.1, near a rest area in Botetourt County.

VDOT said drivers could expect potential delays in the area.
Extent of injuries are unknown at this time. We heard reports a helicopter was called to the scene.
