Christopher Douthat's mom, Mary said CUE has helped her by raising awareness about her missing son.

Orgnaizers said the goal of the event is to bring awareness to the community so that investigators can get tips or leads on a missing persons case.

"We need the awareness because there are lot of communities that someone goes missing, they don't know who to turn to and things like this is keeping hope alive, keeping the hope alive for everyone in the family," Mary Douthat, Chris' mom said.

Family members said they will continue to remember their loved ones by passing out fliers until they learned what happened.

"I think it's a wonderful opportunity for the community to be aware, they need to be aware, they need to be aware that we're not going to give up we're not going to give up, we're not going away we're not going anywhere we're going to be active in finding these people," Paula Hodges,  Heather Hodges mother who went missing in April of 2012 said.
