(WSLS 10) - It's getting cooler which means its perfect weather for chili. Head to the Sedalia Center in Bedford County for its annual Chili Cook-off. Enjoying lots of chili as well as entertainment and dancing. Tickets are $15 at the gate.

Head to Pembroke for the annual Heritage Festival. There will be vendors set up as well as bingo, a horseshoe contest, music and a showing of the movie Wish You Well. Events start at 9 a.m.

The Sandusky Foundation teams up with the Lynchburg College Entreprenuerial Organization to host Haunted History Tours. The tour of the Sandusky House features ghosts from the past that will tell their story as you walk through the halls. The tours are Friday night from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. A donation of $2 is recommended.

The SPCA of Martinsville-Henry County holds its annual Zombie Run 5K and Fun-Run. It's a fundraiser for the SPCA. The run starts in Uptown Martinsville. Day of registration starts at $25.
