BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10 SPORTS)- Virginia Tech had a pivotal win over N.C. State Friday night, but entering this week's game against Miami, the Hokies are focusing on the bigger picture.

"I feel that nothing is ever fully accomplished until the season is over and you actually win a championship or something like that. Nothings been accomplished yet, still a long way to go, a long season ahead of us," said safety Chuck Clark.

While the Hokie's aren't dwelling on last year's embarrassing 30-6 loss at home to Miami, they certainly haven't forgotten about it.They hope to make amends on the road this Saturday.

"In reality of it all is they came in here and kicked our tail, ran the ball and they they beat us soundly, badly, soundly," said head coach Frank Beamer.

Wide receiver Isaiah Ford explained, "you still remember it in the back of your head you don't forget it but at the same time it's not an impact this weeks game. So you just remember that feeling that you had after that game and you prepare this week just as hard."

The Hokies play at Miami Saturday at 3:30.
