ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The Roanoke City Police Department arrested a local man after they say he stabbed another during an argument.
Scott Leamon with Roanoke City PD said the incident happened around 9:03 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12 in the 600 of Murray Ave, SE.

Upon arrival, officers found a 24-year-old man with a stab wound to the upper body. He was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police say the suspect, Justin Shane Orozco, 29, of Roanoke, Va., was on scene and arrested.
Orozco is charged with malicious wounding.
A preliminary investigation shows the suspect and victim knew one another.
