ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The Craftsman's fall classic art and craft festival returns to the Bergulund center this weekend.

The Craftsman's fall classic is the one of the area's largest craft shows of the season. The donation of a canned food item gets you in the doors for free.

All donations go to Feeding America Southwest Virginia which supplies various food banks from across our area.

This is their second biggest fundraiser of the year. Each year they collect thousands of pounds of food that their charities desperately rely on.

This event features hundreds of talented artists from across the United States and their handmade works of art that range from home items, decorations, and jewelry. There is something here for your furry friends.

Barb Putney, Director of Volunteer Services with FASWVA says the event is a great way for the community to get an early start on holiday shopping and help a neighbor in need.

"Everybody that gives food to Feeding America is going to be helping the hungry in Southwest Virginia. All of the donations stay here, and they can enjoy all of the wonderful arts and crafts. So it is perfect," Putney said.

This show is ranked in the top five in the state and is a winner of sunshine artist 100 best awards.

The show runs through Sunday until 5 p.m.
