STAUNTON, Va. (AP) - A trial date has been set for an 85-year-old Staunton man charged in the disappearance of another man more than three decades ago.

Charles L. Almond is accused of killing his stepdaughter's fiance, 20-year-old Richard Miller of Swoope. The News Leader reports that Almond's trial on a first-degree murder charge is scheduled to begin on March 22, 2016.
