ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - The City of Roanoke will hold a clearance event to offer its surplus property to the public at no cost. This event will occur Friday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 5540 Precision Circle, NW.
Interested parties are invited to attend this clearance event and to arrive prepared to haul away desired items. No items will be reserved or held.

Officials say items must be removed from the clearance event by the interested party; no assistance from the city will be provided.
