"I found baby Rainn and she's alive," Victor Sutton told a 911 operator when he came upon the child about 6:20 p.m. off of Peck Leach Road. Sutton found Peterson lying down in a field less than one mile from her home. She was wet and cold wearing the same clothes she had on when she was reported missing. Sutton said she also had flies on her.

Sutton stayed with Peterson while talking with the operator about what to do.

Sutton: "You're okay sweetheart. I swear you are going to be okay.

911 operator: "Is that her I hear?"

Sutton: "She just cried."

911 operator: "Okay. I hear her"

Sutton: "I just got goose bumps."

911 operator: "Oh my God, me too."

Sutton: "I could not give up on this kid."

911 operator: "Thank God."

Minutes later, emergency crews arrived and whisked Peterson off to St. Joseph Hospital in Warren. FBI agents went in the ambulance with Peterson so they could talk with her and gather information about where she was over the nearly 48-hour search.

The search for the child began Friday evening when she was reported missing from her Route 45 home where she lives with her great-grandparents and two siblings.

Hundreds of volunteers showed up at the Bristoville Fire Department Sunday to help in the search. Dogs, planes, a helicopter and search crews on horseback combed the woods and fields near the house looking for the child.

Investigators are continuing to track Peterson's whereabouts since Friday evening.
