The business lost all of its pumpkins and flooding destroyed the concrete where the parking lot is located. Members brought in materials Wednesday to fix the parking lot.

People in the area said the bridge held a lot of memories because people carved their initials and left love letters inside.

"I feel like a part of us is lost, the bridge did mean so much," Jean Hughes who recalled going through the bridge as a child.

Family members of Walter Weaver, the person who built the bridge said it took them nearly 2 hours to find some pieces of the bridge 2 miles down the road.

"I hate to see it in pieces and parts but I got some good stuff, we'll do something with it to at least have a piece of it in the family," Douglas Perry a family member said.
