(WSLS 10) - Administrators at Franklin, Montgomery, Craig and Floyd County Public Schools were forced to change their dismissal times for students on Tuesday, September 29 due to rain and flooding.

Floyd County administrators held students an hour after school was over to ensure flood waters had come down enough for roads to be passable. Any students brought back to the school due to impassable roads would be fed and parents would be notified of further actions.
