They have been practicing for about three months, and raising money for the charity. Three winners will be selected for the event including "Valley Star" for the participant that raises the most

money, "Judges pick" and "Audience pick."

All money raised in Rachel's red kettle will be given to the late Alison Parker's total so she can help Parker be named "Valley Star." Parker was a fierce competitor in Valley Star's 2015 event.

In addition to donations, tickets can be purchased for $100 to the event.

Tickets include a meal and drinks. The proceeds from those tickets will be added to the stars total.
