This is the first time Proceeds for Poverty has given a portion of its sales to the human trafficking program.
"I'm hoping it changes a lot of lives and prevents a lot of this from happening to help put a stop to it," explained Proceeds for Poverty Director, Roy Carter.
"This is one of the many things that they do to raise money which is amazing. It was a huge surprise and blessing to us because they see human trafficking more visibly in some of the countries that they serve and they know that we're working on it locally because it is a global issue," said Straight Street Director, Keith Farmer.
In total, the yard sale raised nearly $45,000.
In addition to Street Ransom money will go to Syrian refugees, victims of the earthquake in Nepal and dig eight water wells.
