SALEM (WSLS 10) - The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) said slow-rolling roadblocks will occur on Interstate 81 Saturday morning.
VDOT said to use extra caution from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 19 while intermittent slow-rolls happen between mile markers 116 and 124 on Interstate 81, northbound and southbound, in Montgomery County.

The slow-rolls will allow A.E.P. to install power lines across the Interstate at mile marker 119.9.
There will also be a right shoulder closure on northbound and southbound I-81 between mile markers 119 and 121 from September 21 through September 24 during daytime hours as crews continue to work on power line installation.
Signage and traffic control will be in place to help drivers in the area. Drivers should expect delays and plan accordingly.
