Maury Express Providing Free Trips Every Friday in September

LEXINGTON (WSLS 10)- The Maury Express transportation system announces they will be providing free trips every Friday in September.  The purpose of  "fare free" day  are to show appreciation for their customers.

Maury Express is an established fixed-route system that runs 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with routes on Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Fare usually costs 50 cents per trip. Washington and Lee and VMI students can ride for free by showing a valid student ID. It is managed by RADAR of Roanoke, a non-profit organization that has organized and maintained both public and private human service transportation for 40 years.
