SMITH MOUNTAIN LAKE (WSLS 10) - Just two days after the horrific acts of violence here, Bridgewater Shopping Plaza reopened, but the community was waiting to heal.
At the front of the plaza hangs pictures of WDBJ7's Alison Parker and Adam Ward surrounded by flowers and letters. A tragedy the community can't quite comprehend.

A candle still burns in their memory. The wood flooring was replaced and now only flowers remain at the scene that would let you know something tragic took place.
Many who come to the plaza said, as much pain as they're feeling, they can only imagine what the families are going through.
