(WSLS 10) - Week one of the WSLS 10 and Feeding America Southwest Virginia Food Challenge resulted in an amazing amount of food donations!
James River and Lord Botetourt high schools went head-to-head in the friendly competition - and James River came out on top! The school collected more than 1,600 pounds of food for hungry families in southwest Virginia.

Lord Botetourt didn't disappoint - raising more than 1,000 pounds. Total raised during the impressive first week - 2,600 pounds of non-perishable food items.
