NBC News – Cable channel USA Network postponed the season finale of its computer hacker thriller "Mr. Robot" for a week because of a "graphic scene" similar to the fatal shootings on live television of two journalists Wednesday in Virginia.

"The previously filmed season finale of Mr. Robot contains a graphic scene similar in nature to today's tragic events in Virginia," the network said on its website. "Out of respect to the victims, their families and colleagues, and our viewers, we are postponing tonight's episode."
"Our thoughts go out to all those affected during this difficult time."
A shooter early Wednesday opened fire on a WDBJ news crew conducting an interview for the news channel's morning show. Killed were reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27. The woman Parker was interviewing, local businesswoman Vicki Gardner, was shot and was in stable condition after surgery.
The gunman later committed suicide while driving away from police in pursuit.
The network did not describe any details of the "Mr. Robot" scene that prompted the postponement or how it resembled Wednesday's shooting.
