ROANOKE( WSLS 10 SPORTS) - The camp tour is closing in on the 1st and 10 special coming tomorrow night.
Coach Bobby Martin's team had an impressive 8-2 season last year before falling to Eastern View in the first round of the 4A playoffs. It was the school's first playoff appearance since the '09 season.

Coach Martin is in his third season at the Roanoke City school and has a five win improvement from last year.
The sky appears to be the limit for the Colonels and Martin says, "Just lay the foundation and help these guys can pick it up we got. A lot of young guys a lot of young guys were just trying to get better we can't rest off of last year. Several players also commented and they are very optimistic about this upcoming season.The Colonels open up at Jefferson Forest in what could be a battle of 4A contenders come playoff time..
