The fraternal organization is dedicated to preserving the history and legacy of those who fought for the Union. It dates back to 1881.

Spokesman W. Faron Taylor of Baltimore says many members will be attired in period dress. He says members will be coming from all over the United States, including the Southern states.

During their Richmond encampment, members are expected to visit many of the region's Civil War attractions.
