WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - Tom Brady was not in New York while the latest deflate gate hearing was being held. He was in White Sulphur Springs at the Greenbrier with Drew Brees and the gang, as the Patriots opened a couple days of joint workouts with the Saints.
The judge ordered both Roger Goodell and Tom Brady back to court on August 31 and continued to urge that the two sides come up with a settlement.

But no movement yet, so the Patriots were dealing with the distraction. Something Drew Brees said he understands.
Brees explained, "It's unfortunate, you know, about both of those situations. I know that's all we can worry about is the opportunity we have to practicing at these guys and get better as a team and they're looking at is the same approach."
League sources continued to report that settlement discussions had gone nowhere, with the season opening weekend a little more than three weeks away.
