ELLISTON (WSLS 10) - A fire investigation is underway in Montgomery County.
The fire happened in the 100 block of Brake Road in Elliston. Upon arrival, crews found nine buildings and a carport on fire.

Most of the buildings were used for storage. No one was there when it happened.
Elliston Fire Chief Clyde Hodges said, "This gentleman was burning some debris behind these sheds. He said it was out when he left. He had watered it down with a water hose and we got the call a little before midnight. when i arrived all the buildings were on fire."
A nearby home was evacuated due to the severity of the flames.
